"Hey...I got an idea....start putting hot pickles in all of your flurries at the DQ...You know, the ones you get at the pony keg in the ghetto. You like those don't you? Go to the West End, and pick some up, then blend 1/3 hot pickle into a Oreo flurrie...Bet those help put you over the top in batavia. "

They're BLIZZARDS D___N IT!

See...You need to start advertising again...I don't even know your product branding anymore! ;D

In the end, you are correct. Radio is still a business - needs to make money to keep the lights on, etc. - and business ain't good in these challenging times.

I wish they would simulcast-- I could then hear Dr Boogie in Norwood after sunset!

Smooth Jazz on Am? heck it is dead on FM in the US and they actually can penetrate buildings with 2 speakers-- put Jazz on the web and give us SOMETHING on CIN? Black Oldies? Gospel? All Lincoln Ware? Radio Disney? Tradio?

...it just satisfies you after dusk....
Sorry buddy....
...I have that phrase copyrighted...

Does the "Solid Gold Soul" network still exist?

Good question...I know that (former NAC) WJJZ Atlanta just went to a Solid Gold Soul format, but I don't know if they are pulling it off the bird or if they are handling it internally.

The WDJO folks are buying WCIN so the format could end up there.

NOT ;D

I hope you are right, but the WDJO people hate working with "the christians". They have been looking for a way out of that deal for as long as they have been on the air. If the station lease is up soon and they have another AM property, chances are they are moving the format.

Its interesting to note that Mr Moneymaker is suddenly quiet. I know why but I wont say..... because Puff is a nice dragon.

Mr. Moneymaker told this board in January to expect big changes from the WDJO folks. Even with a sugar daddy footing most of the expenses, they aren't making enough to run two 1.0 stations.

My source tells me that WCIN 1480 will stay Jazz and WDJO 1160 will stay Oldies. Why should anyone believe otherwise? I'm told to bank on it.
Thank God for the FDIC! hahahaha ;D

Not at liberty to say, but this post is 100 percent nonsense.

What happened with 'DJO is something that is very common in business. No, it is not even close to some of the silly things I have read on this board.
