problem with dspx-fm

hi i am a owner of dspx-fm and i am having problem for second time in to months.
while playing on the air sudenly everything goes black and no music nothing to hear becouse is the second time in two months i dont know what to do the servise here in greece is not to good i sent an e-mail in bw and i am waiting for the answer.
anyone else have the some problem?or anything to tell me what to do?
 
May be a power supply issue. I have never had one fail on me, but you should try and contact Scott Incz directly. Contact me off list for his email if you wish.
 
And your reason for not working with the manufacturer or local representative is?

If you can't afford a phone call then get Skype.

It never ceases to amaze me why so many here consider contacting the people who are BEST equipped to help them a last resort.

Contacting the manufacturer should be your FIRST step, not a secondary thought. And like it or not, just like retail, a telephone call will get you at the front of the queue.
 
I've always had very prompt and courteous responses from BW. I own several DSP-X products and would rate customer service as excellent. They even have a toll free phone number.

the reason is for lokal representative is that i cant talk to him and always say to me that is my fault that the dsp-x not working as for the manufacturer i said that i send them an e-mail and waiting for an answer.
the problem is that i dont have second prossecor and i have big problem and the local dealer cant help me.
the phone i will do it tomorrow monday.
as i see at the dspx the fun cooler from behind isnd working is this the reason that isnt working?

If the cooling fan is not working I would say that definitely could, and probably is, the source of your problems. You may need to do some troubleshooting to determine the cause of the failure, or, if you are not capable of effecting repairs yourself, find someone who can.

only issue i ever had with the dsp-x was when the city power failed, (we have 24 hour back up generators,) the box was on a APC, it failed to completely reboot and i had to go to the xmtr and do a reboot for the processing to start again.Other than that no other problems at all.
 
keep us posted.sounds like you had a fan failure,unit probably has some type of thermal cutoff.Box is a very good processor.
 
i agree with you but is the second time doing this and i wondering if this my dspx have ellatomatic spares and having the some problem
 
Did you do the famous Reboot? No sound output from digital or analog outputs? May be a chip .Any surges or lightning recently?contact Goran.Make sure you have it on a APC.mine rebooted but not the processing part.took a FUN trip to the xmtr to do a complete reboot.is this box at studio or xmtr? May be some heat related issues.What was the problem you had before,you never posted it.
 
yes i do the reboot nothing at all the box i take it just today from bw so i didnt do anything not even test it.
 
are you getting any level on the input? recheck your input-output parameters.sounds like that may be an issue.is your input digital or analog? they may have changed something while they had it on the bench.
 
we check all of this things you say..i was talking in the phone about an 1 hour todaywith paul i think to try fix the prob. but nothing
