I'm just going to repost what I wrote on the other board....
For me, this has been a roller coaster ride.
The next couple hours of Pulse 87 (WNYZ) are uncertain in terms of whether the station can exist or if it goes off the air after October 30th.
However in either case, we are telling EVERYONE in the dance music community and Pulse 87 listeners to get out to Club Exit, 147 Greenpoint Avenue, Brooklyn on Saturday, October 31st, since Pulse 87 has their Saturday Night Dance Party scheduled there.
Here's how it will go.....
If Pulse 87 DOES remain on the air past October 30th, then it's a celebration...party as usual, especially this being Halloween!
If Pulse 87 DOES NOT remain on the air past October 30th, then this event will also serve as a "thank you" to all of the personalities, staff and management that have worked that station throughout the 20 months of their existence.
If it is the latter, then it must be known that it was financial difficulties that ended Pulse 87, and NOT because of the dance music format.
Besides, if you guys here EVER wanted to know what I look like, then come on out! I think I'm dressing normal....that may be scary enough! lol
Thank you,
