being an avid skiier,
I have noticed I am probably the only one who listens to
fm radio while skiing. I ski every weekend and I am yet to see anyone else listening to fm radio besides a small stationary radio in a snowboard park for example listening to 99.3
my freinds listen to kiss 97 south of lyndon state college. Kiss 97 saying thier from the top of killington doesn't make is so they want to ski at killington anymore than they wanted to. the same is with lyndon state college's neighbor station wgmt magic 9.77 "from the top of burke mountain". it would be free advertising but it would not really make much of a difference for the resorts. I am not an add buyer and this is just my opinion, but then agian burke is the only ski resort nearby Magic 9.77. (cannon,Jay, and stow are too far away)
on a side note
many people who can afford to ski/snowboard use mp3 players and all other have the portable xm radio players anyways.
I am yet to see someone sirius though
I appologise if I made people mad with the plug
I figure I put it in were i stand in radio. other people besides me do it on other boards.
