Make all your arguments about "12+ not mattering," "it's the demo ratings that are important," what ever.
I have NEVER seem Q 12+ numbers SO LOW. Is that the result of all the heritage jocks being taken off the air, or is that why all the heritage jocks were taken off the air? ???

Ultimately, the listener does not recognize the voice or name, shrugs their shoulders, says "WTH" and goes on to another station. The listeners' loyalty to that station is gone.

Nothing against anyone else there, past or present, but when a listener thinks Q95, there's Bob & Tom...and there's everybody else. As long as the morning show is on the air, Q95 listeners will be happy, and spots will continue to sell.

I completely disagree. When you have two country stations in one market, are you going to stop listening to both because your favorite jock is shown the door? Not likely - only radio people think like that.
Q finally has legit competition. Baker and Cosby are 'comforting' to hear, but I'm not shutting the music off if they aren't there. WHO CARES? You listen to a format for the FORMAT! Unless you're 12 years old. People tune in for the music selection. If there's a drop in listeners, start with the playlist.

hmmm...I think David Harding...
Once he had a ranting preacher on (fuzzy memory but I think that was it)...the preacher didn't realize that nearly every ad spot was from the adult book stores, theaters, and every sleazy place in town...he heChiefEngineer said:dfwrunner said:Hoosierky said:badstevie said:It's my impression that from the listener perspective, Q95 still HAS it's heritage personalities: Bob & Tom. I think I'll go to the bathroom while the weekly ranting open line caller is on... good to hear a JC native on the board. Walnut street.
