Last I heard, TRG are in a more tame but conservative political direction. Which makes me wonder how that angle is going to play with the AAA format when AAA listeners are often more moderate to progressive voters.
Moderate? No. Liberal? Yeah.
Look at it this way: Lex & Terry are on a station that caters to young white males (Conservatives), and L&T are very liberal (at least Terry is. Lex has no thoughts of his own). Who said any of this makes sense?
Then again, I'd like to think morning show humor (or lack thereof) would transcend political views.

Umm, most of the young white males I know are quite liberal, especially the ones that like a lot of the more alternative rock the station has been playing. I like the mix. I'm very liberal and love REM, Green Day, Chili Peppers, etc., but I also love a little AC/DC, Zeppelin, Heart (before 80's), Hendrix, etc. The variety is cool, and I'll actually tune in..ocassionally. I did give TRG a listen this morning..I don't care which way the lean politically, they were boring and dry as hell. After about 15 minutes, I was done and won't be back.
Another thing, it's good to hear some female artists on that station, something I found lacking on The Bone. I'm a man, but I know some of the best rock (especially classic) has been by female fronted bands. It was good to hear Alanis yesterday too. Have they played any Fleetwood Mac??
