I agree SlopJockey should stage another match there with Radio Rat and Honky. But shouldn't this discussion be remaned for that, or at least the Stevie B. fan club?

Not a REMATCH, completely different match. J-Street has retired from competition, but still, bring on the next bout. And for the record, I said a match between honkytonkbadonk and radio rat but for whatever reason, this site marks out if you type H8NKY! Where's the freedom of speech? It wasn't even a racial slur, just a reference to someone's user name!

I've seen no posts from you.
 
J-Street checking in. I'm currently learning I don't have enough radio "contacts" yet as I'm trying desperately to get in touch with someone from WIVK! I'm headed to Knoxville tonight to see my man Shooter and as I type that, Gone To Carolina comes on wivk.com as I'm listening to see if they have him in the studio this time. That was ironic. Too bad the country station here doesn't play Shooter (hint hint). Hope the radio contacts pay off for me tonight. And yes I realize I'm sounding like a fan and not a "radio professional" but when it comes to the likes of Shooter and let's say... Tom Petty, it can't be helped!
 
I was there at the "other" country station when they played Shooter. It's probably the first and last time you'll hear Shooter on that station.
 
Crossdresser you promised to stay over in the NC board. Nobody's talking about you. Don't you have a co-host to find?

By the way, Boogie Man, I am still looking for a co-host. If you like long hours, low pay and terribly hot summers, then this place is for you. But, there are also fireants...no, wait a minute...that's not such a good thing. The best thing, I guess, is that you're only an hour away from the beach. Seriously, the market is not that bad. It's just awfully small. I thought we had a co-host, but he's not called back. It's a shame, too, because he's very good. We had airchecks from Miami, Dallas, Buffalo, Atlanta and other larger markets. I'm sitting here thinking "why would they want to leave a bigger market for Podunk, North Carolina?" If anyone knows of a sucker...I mean, prospect who might want to work for a 50,000 watt Southern Gospel radio station, tell 'em to send an aircheck and resume my way:
