Quin and Rose lose an affiliate?

Like he did when he was a DJ Jim is still good at taking the notes from the show prep service and breathing a little life into them. He doesn't believe all of it but he can sell it like he does.

In his prime Jim didn't have to take a backseat to any DJ around. He was as good as Lujack, Imus, or anyone else from the mid 60s through early 80s you can name. His fastball is long gone but he has enough left that he can make a pitch or two.

I'd go along with that. He's on his way to being the new John Cigna, except maybe not as congenial. :D

Not even close really. Cigna was through two stations in his 30 some years in this market, Jim is working for station number six if I am counting correctly. Secondly Jim hasn't lead the market in his time slot overall or in a truly meaningful demographic this century and maybe as far back as the beginning of his morning stint at B94.

If you are a dittohead you probably know every throught that has passed out of the man's mouth in the last ten years, but to the vast majority of radio listeners in this market Jim is invisible.

Their AM trimulcast affiliate The Zone is also up for sale. All three sticks. Somehow they managed to land a Salem Communications owned affiliate in Minneapolis.
