Radical Idea For Infinity Oldies

Re: WNEW calls

It's interesting to me that I hear Mix 102.7 playing in a number of commercial establishments I patronize (my local deli, a sandwich shop I go to sometimes, etc.) I wonder why, but it's not an unpleasant experience. Of course people are listening, just not in decent numbers.

Chinese funeral dirges... hmm, now that's an idea for some DJ to pick up on some show on one of my personal favorites, freeform WFMU at 91.1. I have heard Chinese opera played there alongside lots of obscure but interesting indie rock. Long live freeform radio!

revenue down, however

True, but that would be like saying the Patriots don't win the Super Bowl this year and a few other teams got a lot better at the same time. You wouldn't fire the coach nor change their overall philosophy dramatically because they are still very successful when you look at the whole league.
