Radio Farda is up! Up! Up!

Tincap, no KOA?

No sir, not yet! And I see that the on-line stream is blocked for me, making things more of a challenge. Currently WKNR, WKGE and WYLF are filling up the frequency quite well.

I'm trying for AIR on 1134 & 1566, until their transmissions shut down at 0040UTC (8:40pm EDT).

I would think you have a shot at KOA and KSL, although I don't know how crowded 1160 is near you.

Tincap....

This is the year you bag CBK. You heard it here first! ;D If the Cubans and the TA stuff is getting in, you should be able to snag this biggie. I know there used to be a 540 nearby in Ottawa, but they're long gone. My guess is that CBEF is probably your biggest pest, but they're far enough away that nulling them shoudln't be too tough.

KOA and KSL would be tougher. My memory of traveling through your area is that 850 and 1160 are both pretty messy at night.

In any event....Happy Hunting!

Well, I better own up on that then, eh? :D CBEF is a pretty big pest and sometimes I get an echo, when CBGA New-Carlisle PQ joins the soirée. Just to complicate matters, I also have one CBC's more easterly outlets, CBT in Grand Falls NF adding to the mix. A challenge indeed!

And 1160, like 850, certainly is crowded (although at least I can get the KSL stream) with oldies WOBM, WVNJ (carrying the ever interesting Alex Jones show at the moment...) and WTEL (hopping with black gospel), amongst others, combining to create quite the clatter!
