I did not hear this. A friend of mine said that there was an advertisement on WTAM for the Gospel music station WJMO now on 1300AM. That's unique.
If one Clear Channel station promotes another, that's no big deal, but when another commercial operator wants to buy time on anothr commercial operator's station in the same market... and it's accepted, that's something. It must be that the powers-that-be don't look at the other station as direct competition or any significant competition at all, nor does CC have any fear of this potentially swaying the ad dollar pendulum in any significant way. This could also be an indication that radio sales are still in a bad way. Any other instances of this occurring in other markets?
