I do believe I mentioned that I spoke with respect to your views, I certainly don't appreciate mud slinging.

I don't believe the "gringos" are the ones over the air and making the music selection. Last time I checekd, the PD was not Gringo. But the onwers where.easy money said:What I find most interesting is that Clear Channel's KLOL, which happens to be run by a bunch of Gringo's, seems to understand how to appeal to Houston Hispanics better than Univision and Lieberman, at least according to the latest PPM data.
Well then it is not a religious station, It's more of a program in the station.mrtexmex2007 said:Have you guys noticed that 1540 am (I think the call sing is KGBC). Its called Radio Uncion a Religious station. I think they are on only in the morning. Just thought I let you all know!!

Yeah, the one that I haven't heard in a very long time is "gabacho". I think this is the word you may be referring to.DavidEduardo said:RadioRat123 said:Does anybody REALLY use the term "Gringo" any more, Easy Money?
Yep. It is the standard term for European looking, non-Spanish speakers in Latin America. It is also used for very fair skinned people who are also Latin American... I had a schoolmate in Ecuador who was called "El Gringo" Mantilla because he was very fair, with blonde hair.
