Randy and Spiff are nice people, but the bottom line is they had NO RATINGS at GST or at FOX at the end. No ratings means no gig.

Pardon me! I do know a little about computers, just not as much as you. My quote was directed to story@11. He couldn't be more wrong. NOT everyone at True Oldies is part time in fact most weekday jocks are FULL TIME including Kicks. Also part timers make way more than $8.00 an hour. The music is done locally in house except when it's on the bird with an in house music guy. Freddie and Spiff do a GREAT job and are two of the nicest people there. They make a great team! Why fix something that isn't broke. True Oldies is the best oldies outlet Atlanta has ever had so let's be thankful.

Did their shows have no ratings or was it just reflective of the mismanagement at Fox, Cool, and WGST at the end (note that we're talking about CC in the latter two cases)? None of these stations had great overall ratings at the end...especially Cool and WGST.

Story@11 likes to make things up then throw it out there and see the reaction. He made up a story about Dave Pratt from Phoenix being the new morning host of The Bull (and Kristen being canned in favor of someone from Minnesota) when they were looking to fill that spot. None of that came true. Kristen is still there of course, along with Jason Pullman.
My point is, when reading a post from story@11, consider the source.

Freddie and Spiff make $6,240 a year.

That is based on them working a 3 hour day, 5 days a week @ 8/hr.

They are NOT under contract and ARE classified as P/T employees with Mr. Suleman in New York.

Well, wait no more. What biz would you be speaking of? I was merely suggesting, and perhaps not as politely as I could have, that if you are going to make a remark on a public message board of "You have no idea what you're talking about", that it would be helpful to know to whom it was directed.

Wow 2 hours into a show and already you experts say it's worthless..... not to mention the fact that ya'll say you can't
hear it the first hour anyway..... Wouldnt it be nice if some would just be honest and admit that no matter what
this station or ClearChannel do, they will never get any credit ....

I've never been the anti CC person -- I liked Tom Hughes a lot... Randy & Spiff were ok... I thought Randy's show was a great mix between providing information & entertainment -- probably liked it better than Tom Hughes towards the end.
