Ratings 101.1 WJRR

4.7 Congrats to all of WJRR....not the best..but alot better than before....I'm Assuming Hard on Sat Night was a good part of it...along with WJRR playing alot of Harder Rock and alot of NEW Rock....after all people want to hear New Music...and Hard Rock on a Rock station.... alternative #s across the country countinue to suffer.....btw for the music director... play New- Firewind "Mercenary Man" and New- Negative "Won't let go" both great radio-orientated songs!!

Wow...

I cannot remember the last time that JRR had a rating that high....

On the subject of ratings, looks like WPYO took a huge hit! Maybe they should look at the changes Power has made in Miami and implement some of those.

Looks like WJRR is finally striking the right music blend. When I worked their in the 90's it was easier to program. And of course I worked for the hottest GM in America, Jenny Sue Rhodes. Hubba Hubba.....

4.7 12+ Winter 08...up from a 2.8 Fall 07...ORock had a 1.3 Fall 07...

2.8 + 1.3 = 4.1...

doesn't make a 4.7 look like such a big deal...makes a 4.7 look like "the only other option"...

in the mean time, Sunny pulls a 1.5 point increase...2.8 for a debut book is not to shabby!

I'd like to see their 18-34 Numbers-their the numbers that count! And I'd like to see HTQ's 25-54's because they bottomed out 12 PLUS.

calm down, Sunny ain't all that, whoo hoo, a 2.8. Break out the bubbly...........

2.8 is more than ORock could say in the last few years...

Very Poor when you compare the numbers WOCL has when they were "Oldies",Cool 105.9.CBS might want to target OLDER Demo's for the Florida "Classic Hits" Stations.

Let's hold off on the "congrats" for another book. I'd expect Lex and Terry to take JRR back down to reality. And let's make something else clear... a metal show for a few hours on a Saturday night is not gonna sway a rock station's overall ratings one way or another. Trust me.... they've picked up former O-Rock listeners. All you have to do is look at the trends.

Sunny's numbers definitely not bad for a debut...lets see how it plays out over the next book....I loved WJRR when I lived in O town in the late 90's..glad to see they are doing better although I dont think L & T will be a big boost and if they are I dont think it will last long...I read somehwhere that Bubba is being syndicated in January and you can bet he will land on HTQ.......

I wouldn't count on Bubba showing up on WHTQ....

WHTQ has a policy now of being all local all the time with no syndicated shows whatsoever...

That explains the disapperance of Jon Boy & Billy...

WHTQ has a "policy", r u kiddin me? You mean bobby Neil just wakes up one morning and puts a new morning show policy into effect? Then explain Bubba on Cox rockers WFYV in Jax and the Bone 102.5 in Tampa. Some policy, sure that's working ou real well for Cox.

I am not kiddin' Vader, WHTQ has absolutely NO PLANS WHATSOEVER to air any syndicated shows...

I wish that they would, because the Little Steven show was cool.....

ok, then explain why Bubba has been announcing daily that as of 1/1/09 he will be on in the Orlando market on a Cox Radio station. He ain't gonna be on 94.5 or 95.3, we know that. That leaves WMMO, no way or WHTQ.

Wanna a place a friendly wager?

I think policy goes out the window if they have a chance to sign a proven morning show of which Bob Neil has given his blessing to....nothing against the current am show because Ive never heard them but I think Cox is gonna try and get as much mileage as possible out of Bubba

Bubba's world. Funny as hell how he got to MJ in both Jax and Tampa. Now calling him "FeMJ". Too funny...........

BillAlm - you must be the only one posting that DOESN'T work for JRR. They are so corrupt and plant this BS. Yes, let's wait for another book. They just got a bump because of a format change. Sirius RULES!!
