Let's rename this board "Broward/Dade"
so it's closer to the top of the list,
right between BOSTON and BUFFALO.

How about 'South Florida' since there's already a 'North Florida' ?

I was planning to start a new CHR-based historical 'South Florida' thread this week, but I carried away with preparing for my upcoming Hawaiian vacation, so I'll just get to it (and catch up with anything else that is posted) in about 3 weeks.

This is Post # 43 for me, and the '43' stands for ... uh ... nothing right now.

ALOHA !

I'd rather see it as the "Beach Bunny Bongo Board" dedicated to Miami/Fort Lauderdale. :) I love those bikini's on the beaches!

Don't let Westy see that. There's no apostrophe in
bikinis. (Bikinis generally have nicer items in
them, so they don't need any apostrophes.)

I just realized that I'm getting excessively
raunchy today -- so I'm going to Walgreens for
a DVD and some saltpeter.

Actually, that's what it used to be last
year -- or maybe it was 2004.

"Don't know why -- there's no sun up in the sky... Stormy weather"

Don't know why it was changed, except maybe
people who couldn't think of looking
under "S" for Miami?

My posting was strictly tongue-in-cheek.

Have you ever thought of writing something for
South Florida Radio History? (Invitation open
to other experts and old-timers, too, of course.)

How about 1/30 of 1290, WJNO?

What do you do with saltpeter anyway?

I'm not quite sure if you are joking or not...I'm not too good at deciphering sarcasm, though I dish out a fair amount of it.

But to answer you question, saltpeter (or saltpetre in some areas) is used to supress sexual emotions, among other things...which include a key component in gunpowder and a food preservative!

Anyway...back to regularly scheduled programming

No I was quite serious. 954 always does this to me with his super silly wit. Thank you!.

By the way, I originally put the word B-O-O-B-S instead of Breast in the subject line, and it displayed as "(BLEEPED)" automatically. Very advanced Software, and I'm sorry too!

Evidently, that's not true, based on a
couple of sources I looked up.

That's OK. I'm on a low-saltpeter diet.

If the board covers Palm Beach County (and I think it does) then it should be South Florida.

As was posted elsewhere, it was the "South Florida" board before the name change to "Miami."

I made the suggestion of renaming it "Southern Florida" and including Fort Myers/Naples into the discussion because of the number of people from the area posting in this board. Besides, the "Tampa Bay" board sucks!

That's called strikeout, and it dates back
way before HTML. Wordstar had it 25 years ago.

You know how to do bold?

(less-than B greater-than)word(less-than slash B greater-than)

<S>To strikeout, use an S instead of the B</S>

<U>To underline, use a U instead of the B.</U>

To italicize, use a I instead of the B.

<S><U>For a reall mess, do this.</U></S>

Just look at the source for this page.

73s from 954, who needs some H2O right now

Look at the source to find out how to do this, too!

Interesting that when I was testing as well as when you quoted me, my less than and greatter than marks did not show up in the posts.

Now when you can teach me to walk silently upon the Rice paper, I will be ready to protect you master. By the way, I thought my feet were not supposed to hurt after that red hot coal exercise. What's this adult Bris day tomorrow?
