Renel and Christy KISS FM

Actually it is possible to VT a request show. I personally know two guys who have done it. The key is, the VT's are cut only a short time before they air. I know of one who VT's a request show from his home studio. The station's request lines are forwarded to his home during the show. He records the calls, chooses which ones will play, cuts the voice-tracks, and remotes into the station's computer system to insert the tracks and the requested songs where needed. All he needs is a high-speed internet connection. The songs and VT's play within the same hour. It's pretty slick. Of course, not every song that plays will have been requested, but that's true of any request show. And it only takes a few minutes of calls to fill up an entire show with requests if that's what you want to do.
