That is correct; however, WXCR began as a class A FM on 92.1, later upgrading to a 50kw class C2 on its current 92.5 frequency, flipping to oldies with a call letter change to WYUU "U 92" shortly following the upgrade.
That flip to oldies occured in September 1989 following WFLZ's flip out of year old interim oldies format to Power Pig.
