I just thought of a "new" variant of the CHR format: Retro CHR
It would sound like how a CHR station sounded in 2000, and play the hit music from about 1998-2002. Unlike a Hot AC, it would play heavier songs. I realized it when I played N*Sync's Tearin' Up My Heart on 107.9 FM, and it got a good reaction from some listeners. It is nice to hear songs that you haven't heard in years. It would be like an oldies station for teenagers.<P ID="signature">______________
