??? ??? ???This is off the wall! "Blood Bath" what are you talking about? Poor listerners When have listeners ever been consulted before a format change?? MAG was Magic before, however, THZ was MAJIC.. How do you know that Gig blocked the use of that? Show me a court document? How do you know that my cousin's name is GIG instead of his real name?? *

All I see here is some sour grapes from some disgrunted employees.. Hell Gig's Dad and Brother fired me several times! I got over it.. "Bloodbath" my eye! Evidentally you have never been in radio.. That's the breaks... Work for the "Evil Empire" Clear Channel and see how long you last! ROCKNROLL

By the way, I now live on Walker's Cay Bahamas and don't do any thing but fish, eat, drink and chase native women! Of course, I don't know what I would do if I ever caught one!!! ROCKNROLL/BIGAPE!

Goodbye Big Ape. You are truly a man of real class. Seems like the Big Ape likes to avoid talking about how THe Hiltons and WHTZ-FM Majic 94.1 treated everyone. Telling everyone to call 1-800 go to hell shows what I think the Hiltons did to everyone. I think that we can do without the crying and deflecting of Big Ape. I am glad that he has left the boards. May his new self-proclaimed life of booze and chasing loose women do him well. Look, He was the one that said it, not me.....

More power to Big APE! Goodtimes, I must have missed the post you referred to when you said "May his new self-proclaimed life of booze and chasing loose women do him well". I can't think of any better way to spend life than drinking good booze and chasing loose women. It sure beats the hell out of agonizing over a Davidison County radio station that tried to run with the big guys and found they were out of their league. Big Ape, if you find more booze and loose women than you can handle, send some my way, especially the loose women! Oh how I miss hearing oldies on a Triad radio station!

Interesting to see the monthly trends for WTHZ in the winter book. The station dropped like a rock in all demos and day parts.
 
Radio-Locator.com is listing WWLV as Love 94 Smooth Jazz. Naturally it's not true. What's going on?
 
Someone entered bad information for the station on radio-locator. I sent them an update some time ago to reflect the changes.

Those were the old calls, name, and format of 94.3 near West Palm Beach, FL. Unfortunately radio-locator stores format information with call letters, so this happens frequently. I've been trying to submit changes for one station for probably over 5 years and it still hasn't been changed.
 
Does this really make any difference? WTHZ has changed call letters to WWLV and the format has changed to K-Love. Why do we continue to spend time and waste board space on a topic that is really mute? It is my opinion that somebody will make a move on the Classic Hits format in the market and certainly there is room for a Hispanic station since 94.5 made the move to talk. The AM stations will do OK but a Hispanic station on FM would be a huge financial success.

I misread it too. I took that to mean he was really leaving, and that would be a shame.

We simians must stick together.

I'm curious how anyone who worked in the rado business, the way it is now, can afford to do what he's doing.
 
Earler in that post and the one before it, Big Ape said that he was laeving for good.... to drink and chase women. He said that he now lives in the Bahamas.... Guess he is ow living off of the money that WTHZ-FM Majic 94.1 fot from K-LOVE..............
