Ho just posted that the CC suits and the legal suits for Yogi and Boo Boo are meeting today. Maybe they will settle out of court and end this stupidity.

This really sucks. I really don't see this being a 3 strikes and your out thing, I highly doubt they will return to WKLS again. And they are even less likely to go to Dave or The River- they don't fit on those stations at all.
They need to fire Yogi & Panda too.
And damn, they took the downloads off the website. I wanted to have a farewell tonight.
I don't know what will happen to 96rock now. Without The Regular Guys, their ratings are only going to collapse more. Looking back at the Fall 04 book when Bob and Tom were doing mornings...there also wasn't any music competition in the market at that time as Z93 and just been flipped a few months earlier. So they can't go the Bob & Tom route again. But they can't get/make a new successful local talk-driven show overnight. They could go the music in the mornings route, but that's what everyone else is doing.
There really isn't anything to listen to in the mornings anymore (morning show wise)
Just looking at the rock stations...
92.9- MUSIC Mornings (need I say anymore).
97.1- Lexie is not on enough to make it any less boring than the rest of the day
99.7- an improvement over Axel/Leslie, but nothing too great so far.
105.3- Whip has only been doing mornings a little over a year at the Buzz and now holds the title for the longest running/unchanged morning show on a rock station in Atlanta.
I like the music all these stations play, but I want something in the mornings that the other dayparts cannot offer. That's what The Regular Guys provided.

What are the odds they bring in Mancow?
While the Regular Guys probably will not get a third strike. I wonder if MJ might. Even short-term while they look for a replacement. Jerry Del Core's replacement Chuck Deskins was formerly the Tampa Market Manager. How can you go to just a music in the morning show. At least throw something out there to distract listeners from the Morning X besides more of the same tired songs.
