If 3TV hired Dahlquist, I'm sure he would've have the 'limitations' that DeBerge has:

Brian: This should have read "I'm sure he wouldn't have the 'limitations'" rather than would've have. That makes more sense.

OK, I was interpreting brian4's "tone" a bit differently, but came to the same conclusion. I thought brian4 was being sarcastic, but making the same point: i.e. that Rich wouldn't have the same "limitations" as Josh.

That said, has anyone figured out what's going on at 3TV? Who's leaving?

Rich Dahlquist resurfaces as a fill-in meteorologist on 3TV GMAZ weekend. Funny, I said 2 years ago he'd be a good pickup for KTVK.

I missed it! I should have woken up early and watched 3TV. I recently ran into him a couple weeks ago, seemed like a very nice man!

I also saw him doing WX on channel 5 early Wednesday morning (12/24). The only on-air people I saw early in the 5 AM hour were Rich and Paul Horton. Does everyone else from the early AM team not come on until 6 AM?

No, they usually all start at 4:30am. Probably just thin staffing for the holidays!
