Just heard that they are adding him starting Monday 3pm-7pm. Thank goodness. I have been preaching about getting him back in Atlanta radio for the last four years. Maybe we will get classic American Top 40s with Casey Kasem on the weekends too.

That would be sweet. I always thought that AGH and/or B98.5 should have picked it up.RadioDoogie said:Maybe we will get classic American Top 40s with Casey Kasem on the weekends too.

It is, and I believe Cumulus has a deal to air him on most of their AC's and/or CHR's.

robincharlotte said:Dees is voicetracking mornings in LA and it sounds canned. He's a great live performer, but not good at voicetracking. They even have him faking talking to winners.. "Who is this please" "Well thanks so much for listening, you just won a hundee" "Who made you a winner?" It's mailed in. Maybe once an hour he refers to the artist that was just played. Out of spots it's often a jingle into a song. No time check. He says "Dees Sleaze coming up!", and they run it over and over again .
I guess he's not being paid anything from CC for this. It's good for him to get an affiliate in LA of course.
Prepare to be disappointed.
