But isn't KABX located in Merced? Wouldn't that be the reason why they don't do well in the Fresno ratings? They are a Out Of Market station. For example, KFIV-1360 does not do well in Stockton ratings. Neither does KJSN-102.3. But in Modesto, They are doing well. KABX is doing well in Merced. Even better than KHIT. You are right about KABX, they give us more 60s, It's good to see an Oldies station doing well, they have a good signal down to Hanford/ Lemoore.
No, hears why KHIT and KKBZ play music that KMGV and KJFX doesn't play. KHIT does better than KABX 97.5 in the ratings.
If Lotus wanted to make KHIT an Old School Format it would be better than CC because of KBOS.

That report is nothing but fact. CLEAR CHANNEL registered domains for TheBeatFresno.com, 1037Beat.com, TheBeat1037.com, and FresnoBeat.com. Format changes don't happen overnight. It's quite possible KRZR will flip to All-Christmas on Halloween and not become The Beat until January or it can happen tomorrow.

I don't really think KRZR is going anywhere, they are promoting their 21th birthday, which was actually June 17, 1989. I was at work on that day, and the last song on KMGX X-104 was Super Sonic(I could be wrong on that), At noon the station blew up to become KRZR Playing "One Bitten Twice Shy" by Great White as their first song and McFly was the first DJ.
With KHGE 102.7 ratings being the worst ever, KALZ, KTHT, and even KKNU had better rating on that Frequency. I can actually see KRZR moving to 102.7.
Hang on to your knickers....the flip happens at Noon on Wednesday 10/6. Doug and Rev arfe O-U-T and Skippy remains on Alice.

The monthly billing for KRZR and Big Country were about the same...KRZR had a full staff and KHGE runs with ZERO talent expense. Which one is more PROFITABLE?
Mark my words...they will run The Beat jockless for as long as possible (maybe forever) and if CC can maintian the revenue that KRZR had, their margin goes up dramatically IN SPITE of losing audience shares. Sad fact but the money counts for more than the ratings.

Well, R.I.P. KRZR. Even though I like rhythmic ACs, I don't like ones that lean very urban, and this station is one of them. Very stupid decision indeed.
KRZR is somewhat trending on Twitter, search KRZR and you'll see many complaints about the flip since the past 3 hours.

Here is what I am going to do I am of tomorrow, and will try to listen most of the day, I will be calling every business that is advertising and letting them know if they continue to advertise on krzr in it's new 80s pop bubble gum shit rock format, I will never use their business, and will recommend to everyone I know to not use them as well, that is the only way to send a message.
