RO selling off the Mix signals

Urban One is the parent company of Radio One, which is their audio division. The company has diversified beyond its core black targeted businesses in multiple markets such as Houston, Indianapolis, and Charlotte hence the ownership of WFNZ and WBT. Mix wasn't making the company money so they sold it.

You're trying to inject race where there isn't.

But to answer the other's questions, no Mix or WLNK is NOT likely coming back.
I'm not trying to inject race. Radio One has done quite nicely in the various Urban formats. I will give them credit for trying to branch out. But IMHO Companies that stay "lazor for focused" on what they do best tend to survive and sometimes thrive. To the best of my knowledge, they haven't be bankrupt like several of the bigger operators have been. If I was 20 years younger I wouldn't hesitate to do sales for them in Atlanta. I wonder what was / is their R.O.R. on the capital spent for WBT AM, WLNK, and Mix?
