Robin & Maynard News?

R&M have an eager audience, it's just that their show and 100.7's Radio For Guys format at the time was pretty mismatched. Even more than the whole snafu with BJ Shea's crew.

Just because it didn't work out with Entercom does not mean it's the end of a career over 20 years long. Their show sounded best on rock/classic rock stations.....

I'm not so negative about them as much as I laugh about the posts here implying they are such a great morning show. So great that they were yanked off the air and the station changed format.

Truly great morning shows persevere, some even stand out above the radio station itself. The joke for Howard Stern was "Howard Stern in the morning and a one share all day." That was the case in many of his markets. But Robin and Maynard couldn't sustain itself on a station that was, in fact, best-known for its syndicated afternoon nutjob.

Up to four. Wow. Only if Howard Stern could be so lucky.
