Rock 104.5 is retiring

Its just about to hit the 8:00 hour here. I been listren to X-102.9 (just checking them out) for a bit. Well I guess we were see what will happen at 10pm or 11pm hour for the flip.
 
wonder if anybody will record the OTA stream instead of live from the web? I dont know that i'll get it from this far out .
 
@Louis_009: Right on! About to fire up the recording software the capture these last couple of hours.

@John Holcomb II...I am in Lake City where I can get the OTA, but storms here are going to cause an issue I fear.
 
well, can you try to get the OTA to mp3?
I'll try for it too. though its not late enough for DX yet. If i get it on cassette I can convert later and post
 
We got some storms that have developed in the area that is causing some issues. I am just going to record the webstream, but I am sure someone close to Jacksonville is going to capture this. I am writing down each song that is played until the flip.
 
Yeah, but I can usually get the OTA in the car without any issue. if inside the house its a bit of different story depending on the weather. Jake is pulling out some of the album cuts tonight. This is just amazing!
 
Yeah and the harder classic rock too. Its cool. I just heard a little snip try to come in here in The Villages. just bearly above the static.
 
Lynyrd Skynyrd is actually schedule to hit the stage at 8:35 pm...that means the format flip could be coming at any time after this time point.
 
Wow holy cow...the stream cut to commercial sooner than anyone expected, but enough of the message was made clear by Jake....the station is about to change formats....last song coming up I guess.
 
Alright, that is a fair shot. i am recording the online stream. I have all the songs written down from every song since 8:00 pm as part of recording this change over.
 
Yeah I notice that....anything could happen at this point....I am now expecting the flip to happen at 9pm since Jake said his final goodbye already. Sad day for Jacksonville and Northeast Florida.
