Rock 92 Tower Lights Malfunctioning?

A 94Z Fan said:
Was Rock 92 an 89 docket frequency? The 89 docket was a 80s thing by the way where you had to broadcast from you city of license.

If I can trust my memory, Rock 92 was a class C before the 80-90 docket took effect. Before the 80-90 ruling all class c's had 180 mile spacing (unless short spaced) & were protected as if they were operating with 100kw at 2,000 ft which was not the case with most stations. 80-90 allowed stations to change frequencies and upgrade facilities. The ruling created C-1 & C-2 FMs.

BTW the Rock 92 tower lights now appear to be operating properly.

So Ape, Did you climb up and fix them? I would have paid to see that. I've been on several "pack a lunch" climbs years ago.
