Rock gone from "the rock" 106.9 WCCC

It sounds like it's back now! Miss Klonk was on as normal and playing the current song from Soundgarden around 5:30 PM. :)
 
Miss Konk is going to be on all day every day except for Karoli who is back in middays. (According to the Courant.)

I haven't listened to WCCC in years but tuned in tonight when one of the electronic billboards had "Now playing 1069 rock songs in a row." with a different WCCC Logo (Just said 1069 WCCC in yellow but not the normal WCCC The Rock logo.)

I listened for a bit then turned it back to WDRC.
 
The morning show with Raven and Klonk yesterday sounded terrible. There was no chemistry between them. Raven talked to her like he usually talks to the guests he interviews (saying, "Right, right..." as responses to her statements.) There was too much music and it was stale songs. Pete Lamaroux was still there, but instead of doing sports he was now doing news.
 
Its the stale rock songs. thats the problem IMHO. I cant listen to it. I will just drive thru the state listening to spotify because I am tired of the stale rock songs.

And there's no such thing as a "stale hip-hop, rap song",or some garbage from Gaga? No staleness there, right? It's called "classic rock" for a reason!!!

I'm not sure what that has to do with anything as they don't play those on WCCC (at least not yet).

And no, I don't think any rap stations out there are playing the same rap songs from 30+ years ago twice a day every day.
