I believe Dominique was mentioned earlier & maybe Jesus is Just Alright with Me--Doobie Bros was too, but just in case it wasn't I'll throw it in now :D

One Toke Over the Line...waitin' for the train that goes home, sweet Mary, hopin' that the train is on time, sittin' downtown in a railway station....

Not necessarily a stretch, when you consider that "going home" is also a euphemism for having your ticket to glory. The Impressions sang about the train, and Brewer and Shipley sang about waiting for the train that goes home.

I Believe - The Earls
You'll Never Walk Alone - Gerry and the Pacemakers

"Do Right" a 1980 hit by Paul Davis... "Do right, and He'll be your guiding light". "I never knew, I could be holding you, but He's making my dreams come true, so I've got Do Right, gotta Do Right the rest of my life".
"Can't keep livin' like we're livin' ... Can't keep pushin' the limit... know we gotta Do Right..."
A very strong Christian message on Top 40 radio. Great stuff!

George Harrison's late 1970s hit "Blow Away", was contrued by some as a good love song. But, when he sings about the ying and the yang, you know that it's about his religious conviction.

"Jesus is Just Alright" was originally done by The Byrds in 1969/1970. The original was not a big hit, although it was released as a single.

"Deep Enough For Me", Ocean's followup single to "Put Your Hand In The Hand".

The first notable Christian Rock artist, I believe, was Larry Norman ("Why Should The Devil Have All The Good Music?" - early 1970s).

Of course, there's a whole industry of Christian pop and rock today. Artists include Reliant K. ("Pressing On" 2001 or so), DC Talk ("Jesus Freak"-mid '90s), Switchfoot ("Meant To Live"- 2005/6), The David Crowder Band and tons more. Turn on an EMF "Air One" station and you'll hear them all.

I have often been reminded, frankly, of the crucifixion of Christ with the open lyric line, "Day turned black, the sky ripped apart"...and then the bright, happy song ending reminds me of the Resurrection, even though George Harrison was heavily into the Eastern religions.

Do I dare go country with "Jesus Drop Kick Me Through the Goal Posts of Life"?

Sorry, couldn't help it. I love all of the songs in the posts, and though I have heard the one I just posted, I thought of it and it tickled me.
"Long Black Train" by Josh Turner is good, too.
