Ok, so the title is a little dramatic. But, in regard to your recent Dave blog entry....
I'm interested to know why you cannot write that personality x was 'fired,' just because he/she has it in the contract that a firing cannot be referred to as a firing?
Seems like if a person is 'out', complains about being 'out', and wishes he weren't 'out', then it probably means he was shown the door and told to get 'out.' Ergo, he was fired.
I know you want to keep good relations with the radio management, but to let Barnes run that game on you last month was a trifle acquiescent, no? There's nothing in your contract - particularly in a quasi-journalistic forum such as a blog - that prevents you from surmising that 1+1=2, even though no one will officially confirm it.
