I used to listen to about a half hour of the music on that web site nearly everyday. Offered a nice change of pace from what was on the radio during the work day. I really missed it when he had to shut down.
I listened to Ron on a regular basis during his WIFI days. Also was a fan of Johnny Dev, first when he was on afternoons, then later in the evening when he tried "progressive". I remember the afternoon he was playing R&R, like he did everyday, then suddenly switched to show tunes. He sounded very angry on the air as he made the switch. I figured the owner had a problem with R&R and just decided to be a jerk. Does anyone know what happened that day? I will admit the show tunes made for a better lead-in to the 5:45pm "Hymns At Eventide" program!
I still have a lot of fond memories of the DJ's and programs on WIFI.
