Ron St. Pierre out at WPRO/WEAN

Providence is a revenue power house (PRO-FM, Lite Rock 105, WPRO?) but Cumulus is being squashed by their massive debt. All of that money heads to Atlanta. Layoffs have nothing to do with the cluster performance, it has to do with debt service on a corporate level.

Tara just signed off her show and stated that she would be joining Buddy on his show.

More on Tara's move to afternoon's on GoLocalProvidence.

"Tara's move to afternoon drive MAYBE an indication of more cuts or moves".....Did you catch that line and Tara has been doing a 2 hour stint Saturday Afternoons.

Could Tara be getting groomed for her own show.......That's what it sounds like to me.I think this is the begining of the end for Buddy.

John Laughlin is in for Buddy today. He has a terrific sense of humor and really knows how to run a talk show. He is one of the few conservatives
(or liberals for that matter), who does not annoy with their political comments. Since the new program director supposedly likes young talent, perhaps he should clean out the dead wood (and high salaries), and put Laughlin and Matt on days.

Arent WPRO's numbers in a steady decline too?.that'swritten somewhere.I think this may be a morphing into Tara to take over Buddys show completely.
