Rosary on WPLM

I am sorry I offended you and have not met the high standards of this board. I will head to confession Saturday afternon and seek absolution.

Cushing was an old family friend (through my grandfather) so I don't take this stuff lightly. He certainly had his faults (mainly political, he was a real hardball player when necessary, and sometimes even when it wasn't) but he did a lot to repair the sectarian damage done during the archbishopric of O'Connell, especially with the Jewish community.

I have no idea what the 'standards' of these boards are, but I'd like to think that baselessly attempting to smear someone who's been dead for almost 40 years and then responding "Who, me?" when called on it isn't one of them.

Go in peace.

Regards,
TSB

Not to beat a dead horse (no pun intended) but I was not try to smear the Cardinal. Manly older friends of mine fondly remeber the Cardinal's outreach activities at the Punch Bowl and leading sing a longs at Napoleon's. This enabled him to make new friends while keeping a watchful eye on his young Parochial Vicars.

Yeah, but the question is where did the Sisters of The Unholy Union go....?????????

Former Boston Globe writer Liz Ireland had a band in Atlanta called "Rosary". I thought she was getting airplay when I first saw this thread.

Looking for an MP3 of WPLM's ROSARY!

"Ha ha that's great!! If you want, you can post on the thread that WPLM
has been doing the rosary for at LEAST 45 years. I used to listen to it as
a very small child when I couldn't sleep. Early 1960s.

They can't possibly be still using the same tape though?!! If anyone
can rip a quick mp3 of a portion of it (not all of it, thank you very much
LOL), I'll be able to tell immediately whether it's the same tape or not, b/c
I listened to it *every* night for *years*.
Best
Liz
