Today's freezing rain and sleet are affecting our signals on WPPA and T102... online streams are working uninterrupted.
Besides having the walk the last half-mile up Sekol Road on Sundays at 5AM, and having to run WICK by hand in '98 after lightning fried the Cetec Schafer 7000 system, my most memorable weather-related experience was in June 2006, when we had flooding here in Schuylkill County, and ran T102's morning show for 5+ hours in a news/info format with just me and Jay Levan live on WPPA running things ourselves til others could get in.
I guess with how many places are automated overnights, there are no more stranded-in-a-snowstorm stories these days.
Any good weather stories?
