Did RTN change there name to my retro tv because KAZT 7.2 showed a bumper saying my retro tv from when turned it on at 7:58pm - 8:00pm.

I haven't seen it, but if this is the case, wouldn't FOX have grounds to sue them for using a name similar to MyNetworkTV?

Considering that My(YourEntityHere) has been in use online for quite some time, and there was already WZMY 50 Derry NH branding as My TV before MyNetworkTV launched, I don't think Fox would have a legal leg to stand on.

They showed it again at 10:00pm.

I saw it on WBAY-DT3 in Green Bay this morning...it's the words "MY RETRO TV" in the A-Team font with a bouncing ball going left-right on the screen. And at 5:45am they've been airing consecutive episodes of "McHale's Navy" for awhile instead of infomercials. No mentions of the troubles on WBAY at all, although they could throw their in-house weather station on DT-2 on if things act up again.

Also...the audio is three seconds ahead of the video. I guess they're trying something new with that :D?

As of this posting, "Leave it to Beaver" is on, and the audio is still ahead of the video. I guess that's better than frozen video and OK sound, though. ::)

EDIT: I saw the "MY RETRO TV" thing too, just after LITB ended. Just a black screen with the words in white and that white ball scooting across the screen.

It sounds like most stations are using the My Retro TV branding, and that's the new domain name....has the name changed? I like that more. Since it was Equity's name, they may have demanded that it be changed.

That could well be, but my understanding was that Luken bought the rights to everything, from the name on down, and Equity was just programming the network with their CASH system. But, then again, I could be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time!!! ;D

Will RTN ever come to NYC? We have so many wasted subchannels. 5-2 just rebroadcasts 9-1, and 9-2 just rebroadcasts 5-1. 4-4 is supposed to be replaced with a 24/7 news channel, and 4-2 will become vacant whenever they decide to take NBC WX Plus off the air.

I'm pretty sure 4-2 will become Universal Sports when 4-4 launches its news subchannel.

I doubt RTN will show up in New York. I imagine the rights to those shows are already owned by existing stations in the market.

KIRO2 in Seattle is still showing RTN a.k.a. My Retro TV. However, the programming is a mess. The digital channel guide says one thing, while the channel is airing something else. Last night at the end of Alfred Hitchcock which was a repeated episode from the day before, they aired 10 straight minutes of commercials before going into the Paid Programming spots.

Also, the program start times are way off. Have they completely done away with the half hour sitcoms (Leave It To Beaver, Kate & Allie, Bachelor Father etc.?) All I see now are the 60 minute dramas. I think they needed to mix it up anyway. As it was they had too many hour long dramas on and needed more half hour sitcoms. Now it is all dramas.
Maybe it will get better. God, how I would love to program that channel.

Since late last night, they've been showing Leave it to Beaver every 90 minutes or so. Well, OK, maybe not THAT often, but I know I saw at least one episode that was shown yesterday AND today. ??? ??? ???

I've been doing other things, but I don't think they showed Quincy at all today. Not sure about Rockford. All I know is this: The sooner they get the schedule straightened out, the better!

Right now on KAIL 7.2 in fresno RTN programming is there there running Emergency at 8PM ,but the on screan guide says A-TEAM and the RTN logo that usally at the bottom of the screen is replaced with KAIL 7.2. I just went to KAIL 7.2 website and it said that there is a technical problem and there feed is limited. They say it will return to normal soon.

Same thing here on RTN,just showing whatever,whenever......

Its good seeing these stations NOT WANTING TO LET RTN GO!!

The same episode of Emergency that was on at 8:00 (7 Central) was on earlier in the day.

I'm glad the stations aren't giving up, too. Our station hasn't said diddly about it, except for the crawl at the bottom of the screen apologizing for "any inconvenience."

Those were on after 5am in the Central Time Zone yesterday, so they did air. Right now they've been repeating the Bowser "Oldies but Goodies" infomercial six times since 2am, while they strangely air ads for the University of Tennessee and an ITT campus in Morrisville, NC. They almost synced up around 2:30am...only to go to a six minute break for the bouncing ball A-Team logo before Bowser came back.

RTN was on the air in Seattle this morning. In fact, I thought it odd that regular RTN programming was on instead of the Paid Programming spots they usually have on that channel on Sunday mornings. I havent been home since 11:30 am so I won't know the current status until later tonight. I'll let you all know then. It would be a complete bummer to lose RTN.

That is interesting. For the rest of us, if you have to get your Rockford or Emergency! fix, there's always Hulu, I guess. They do have quite a library of good shows from both NBC and Fox. If they'd just add Quincy and Marcus Welby, I'd be happy.

actually Quincy and Marcus Welby are on RTN or were on, but with all of their current problems who knows. Although I did see Marcus Welby on around 8 AM yesterday(Jan 6th).

Here in Palm Springs California we have analog UHF station KRET, on Time Warner Cable ch.14 (not a digital "side-car") but an LPTV broadcast station. As of yesterday it has been a straight network feed. All local spots and paid programs are gone; not even legal id's ! The shows seem to be starting 8 minutes late.

Yeah, Welby is about the only show that is still airing in the usual slot and also corresponds with the channel guide. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the hour long dramas as well, there was just an imbalance of them compared the vintage half hour sitcoms. Welby, Emergency, Ironside are several of the ones I enjoy. I wish RTN/MyRetroTV would bring back the 90 minute ABC Movies of the Week from the late sixties to mid seventies. Crowhaven Farm, Maybe I'll Come Home In The Spring. Five Desperate Women, Home For The Holidays etc.

At 11 PM, KAZT 7.2 was showing Emergency! although the program guide said The A-Team, then at midnight, the screen went dark, except for the website address www.myretrotv.com in changing colors at the center of the screen.

AT 2 AM pacific KAIL 7.2 is airing Emergency instead of Informecials,I called the station and they say RTN moved to a New facility and at the time only have one up link Feed.they also said in certian market the Syndication rule applies and some programs have to be Blacked out. They did say thing should return to normal soon.
