Rumors or change of minds?

Mega never changed their name like many thought it was. Was it a rumor or did Clear Channel change thier minds?
 
So it was only a rumor, but they did change formats. But not names.

Our poster Omega's plans don't seem to have worked out.... same name, same music mix as they have had for last 9 months, same station. Llamarada de petate, parece.

Yeah but now we all look dumb because we were all wrong. And now who knows when it will change. Maybe the guy who started that rumor works for Clear Channel, and was just messing with us to see what we would say.
 
No, WE DON'T LOOK DUMB because no one said that there was going to be an official name change (except for Omega). It was all rumors. Unless you went ahead and told lots of people of the change, then you are the only one who looked dumb.

I still have a feeling they might change, sometime very soon.
 
The Change is still comming but its not a format flip so much as a transition. Look for the Morning show to disapear very soon as well as the night show! The djs will now only speak spanish on the air and the imaging is only in spanish no more latino and proud so the changes have been made but its not that easy i cant say much but trust me i worked hard all weekend and slowly you will hear the tweaking o yeah another station will son change its name David E i know you know about this one .... La picuda 107.1 will soon be estero latino.. David E i would love if you could share why Hector Velasquez was fired!
 
So you feel free to tell us about Univision's plan but not your, bummer! :D

I thought you said that the new imaging and athe new name was ready? What happened?

I still can not believe how unprofessional you are about this Omega!! You are on the inside, and yet you still leak out all this information. You know that there are people that work for Mega that read this information and have informed management that there is somebody on the inside running their mouth like a gossip queen! Someday there will be a page on here with somebody running their mouth about you being let go. Karma is a bitch!!!

Yeah right I dont believe you anymore. And you said La Picuda is Changing to Estereo Latino, why? Estereo Latino stoped thier show and it became Recuerdos 94.1 fm. So what are they going to say Estereo Latino is Back??
 
So whats going to be the name and the date? And how does ------ 101. going to fit now? Why dont they try to compoete against la raza or la que buena?

Mega wants to go after XO and is female targeted .... Its just simple they want to sound young and fresa so they can attract bigger acounts that mega latino and proud could just not pull in! Oh come on this board is to come and share what you know you cant blame me for letting out a few details... David E come one tell us why Hector Velasquez who at one point was also broadcasting in Houston was fired? Yes la picuda will soon be making changes see david E it pays to know ppl at the top! Hey and about Mega you will son have a new all spanish morning show...

So, we are still waiting for those new liners with the new name of the station. Where are they?

Pretty much, that is what omega said. I really haven't seen any music shift into a more Spanish love songs type of station at all over the weekend.
