Rush was paid by ESPN to comment and have people care about his comments. What he said was about four or five years ago and you're still talking about it. I'd say ESPN got what they wanted. Where is the outrage when a black reporter for ESPN says somthing stupid? Anyway, I dont know the business enough to know if Rush getting paid all that money is a good thing or bad thing. All I know is that I dont care what he gets paid, it's not my money, and it doesn't cost me a dime if I listen to him.

The black host you're talking about is Harold Reynolds. He wasn't fired or let go because of somthing he said on the air, it was because of a sexual harassment problem he had with another ESPN employee. Doing something stupid, and saying something that may or may not be stupid are two different things. Rush was just doing his job. Why can't you just be happy that a former pill popper, deaf guy can do so well on the radio. Rush is a story of hope!
