Russ is Bored... Story at 10.

I just looked at his website and I am going to guess it has something to do with his new music video "fun fun fun".

And this is NEWS?

Is that a Village People Tribute Band?

Here's my question - if Russ believes that there was some sort of wrongdoing by the Southlake PD, why haven't we heard about him either filing a complaint with Internal Affairs or filing a civil suit against them?

I notice he pointed out the BS about the public doesn't know about the complaint his girlfriend filed against the Southlake PD. How could the public NOT know? He's and his lawyer have been sure to mention it in every article, on his website and in every interview.
And didn't Mandy/Amy move out a couple of months ago? Did she miss the money train and move back in?
Russ might as well write these articles for the news himself they're so fluffy.
I love the quote "I've been through a lot". Well cry me a river from your 3 million dollar mansion! :'(

I use to be a big fan of the show, but the more I see of him whining about his troubles, the less I care. :-X

I wonder if the movie about a "small town police force" is the finalization "Spittleville" he began years ago?

JD had a big part in that though (if any listeners remember that part and what he had to do...hehe ;)) so I wonder where that's headed. I hope it is though since I loved the idea from the moment he began talking about it.

Lot's of jealous Russ haters out there, I know. But, he's still one of the most dynamic and entertaining DFW-ites to ever hit the airwaves with the candor and sharp-edged sense of humor that he has. No doubt he got rough with his GF, was arrested..........but it's been dealt with legally since and the GF is still with him. No doubt he's still being paid full salary because his former company doesn't want him competing against them out of fear of ratings or litigation costs. No doubt he still has an audience in the market that doesn't want sports talk........or watered down, very bad sports talk.......or politics that will still welcome his style of radio in marketable numbers.

For God's sake, 105.3 was doing better with a freshly arrested Martin who had been shedding listenership for a year versus what they are throwing out there today. Hate to kill the buzz-lust of some here, but, Russ will be back in some in this market and he will do well.

They did, in fact in last night's story, they showed the complaint and the text contained therein.

Actually what they showed was "amy's" complaint....looks like it was written by Powers. Any one that has been involved with domestic violence knows this is a common ploy to try to have domestic violence charge thrown out. I believed not a word he said. I wish he would just go away.

Who (m?) is more desperate for attention?

A. The TV stations in this market who do stories about Russ

or

B. Russ?

In 10 months since the station flipped formats they have yet to come within half-a-point of even the lowest month's rating for "Live 105.3".

Congratulations on being what's wrong with out society.

"Innocent until proven guilty." -- Remember that lovely phrase? I don't care what it looks like to you. It was a complaint filed against the cops, period. Just because it doesn't look like you want it to means nothing.

I appreciated the laugh, "Dynamic Personailty"...LOL!! NOW THAT is hilarious.right up there with tea parties.
