Russ Martin indicted

I will be listening to Pugs and Kelly today. I may not agree with most of what they say, but it will be nice to listen to someone who has not been accused of beating their boyfriend or girlfriend.
 
All of the"original charges were dropped". Eventually,in the very near future, these new Class A misdemeanor charges will be dismissed also. No witness, no case. Worst case scenario he pleas out to one or two Class C charges. That way he gets the girl, the gun and the glory.
 
Did anyone hear P or K bow up to and/or address Russ today? I tried to tune in but every time I went over there they were playing music so I didnt stay...what a whip :-\
 
I like P&K though I can't get to listen until after 5:00. But it sounds like Pugs has been teasing this for a long time and that he really has nothing. Has anyone else noticed his myspace tag? "we have the bomb and we are not afraid to use it"

They have teased this from day one and nothing. I am very disappointed in the two of them.

I'm also confused with something from yesterdays show. Russ mentioned Amy again as if they were living together again.

I'm confused because this is what I can remember he said.

He and JD were talking about going to the bathroom on a floor and "Amy" asked who did that, and I guess it came from a poodle.

I was listening on and off yesterday.

NOW, unless someone who really knows Russ, what are the chances of this being a new Amy?

From what I understand... The "Amy" who was involved in the alleged altercation is really named Mandy. Whether this "Amy" that he mentioned at least a dozen times yesterday is the same "Amy" - I have know idea. However, why on earth would Mandy go back to that situation? Also, although he has mentioned "Amy" numerous times now does not mean that she is back. We have not heard her on air (phone). It is just odd that the name Amy surfaces at the same time the news reports hit. Theater of the mind? Perhaps.

Not entirely true, before Amy the moniker for his at the time girlfriend was Mona, Mona liked the pizza :D
 
Wow - such humor must be what's kept him at the #1 spot in the ratings....oh wait....he's not.

Whether or not it's true about the moniker....he's still a woman-beater. If it is THAT Amy, then hopefully, she'll actually get a brain and leave....
 
If he is stupid enough to play with his listeners' minds, he is pretty dumb. If he was not guilty, I would not think he would let her be around him. If he is guilty, in most cases, the accuser comes back into the relationship. You are right though, we do not know what is going on.
 
Doesn't he always say that everything in his show is schtick and anyone who believes anything he says is an idiot? Who's to say that "Amy" is even back with him even though he's alluded to it? My guess that he's trying like hell to change his public image in any way possible.....

In that sense, you're right, College - if he WAS innocent - what guy would say, "Okay - you made a public mockery of me and accused me of something I didn't do - so SURE let's get back together." I sure as hell wouldn't- no matter how awesome the girl was.
 
He alludes to it because he is scared. he needs to preserve his Balch Springs Machismo. To not talk about will lead to more talk off the air about it. He is all mouth<what a stretch> no substance, and seeing his once pristine birch corroding away.
 
I am going to get chided heavily for this, but I am going to say it anyway. I have been trying to figure out who Russ reminds me of, and now I get it. Well, he actually reminds me of the Great Gatsby. Do you think he would be this popular if he did not have all that money? Would he have Trey agree with everything he says if was not making $2 million a year? Would he have a girlfriend make herself at home so he can pay her bills? What would is life be like he was still working for his dad or working with is brother?

I am not condoning Russ at all. Actually, I feel sorry for him because I believe, fame got to his head. Oh yeah, it is all a schtick according to his unoffical message board, but can't you tell the difference between the way he is now compared to three years ago? Yes, he is probably scared because he may lose everything. Maybe I do not know what I am talking about so you are welcome to chide me or help me understand. Maybe I am just ranting.

Mr. Martin has been indicted on a three-count, Class A misdemeanor complaint. He faces up to a year in jail and a fine of up to $4,000.

So you're the judge and jury now? ::) It must be nice to be so clairvoyant. Care to tell me how the presidential election will turn out? Wouldn't want to waste my time voting. ::) ::) ::) ::)
