Based off what I've seen said. Russ is guilty and should not be tried. No one should be tried when accusations are this bad. Remember the duke lacross players and coach out of a job who had their lives and finances crushed. Serves them right after the horrible things that were said about them by that poor girl.
On the other hand, you have Kobe Bryant, who was involved in that rape case in Eagle County, Colorado some years ago... but in this case, the victim's side of the story turned out to be a little shady, and Kobe walked.
It's late, so I'm not sure if you got that I was being sarcastic? All charges were dropped against the Lacross players, the girl kept changing and after she said she was raped by 3 players, they found no DNA. I believe she finally admitted it was a lie and they were considering, or did bring her up on charges. The DA prosecuting the case against the guys has been or is facing disbarment. All due to this chics total B.S. lie. Those innocent boys, and that coach and the families of those students and the coach had their lives totally ruined by this lie.
It is a well known fact that many women wrongly accuse their spouses of abuse. According to some, in California divorce lawyers advise husbands to leave immediately before filing the divorce and have no unsupervised contact with their soon to be spouses due to it becoming such a common practice for women to file abuse cases before going into divorce proceedings, sometimes at the encouragement of their lawyers.
Again, I'm not saying this is the case with Russ and "Amy" but....
just to play devils advocate.....
Hypothetically.... If a woman was with Russ, .. and they wanted to REALLY REALLY SCREW WITH HIM...(who could imagine why?) get him arrested, fired, humiliated, ruined professionally basically run out of town on a rail and cost him $???????...
well...
making up a story like this would certainly be a way to do it.... as we are seeing.
Course he may deserve every bit of it.. but it bares some consideration until we hear his side of the story, or better, the unreleased / missing? "audio tape".
Again, comdeming this guy, wanting him fired, and concluding he's guilty and doesn't deserve trial based on just one woman's statement is EXTREMELY naieve.
