Russ claiming everything said on the show was a bit was very clever. Just in case you have to put your foot in your mouth and eat crow. Like when you have to go back on your word and work mornings.. or end up on satellite or AM.. because you've lost all revelance and respect and have to take any job you can get.

Says people on here. The venom is understandable, considering how Russ would berate all of you as much as he did P&K. As for the lemmings...well, they're a better class of people than the haters I have seen on here. Most of the ones beating on Russ seem to have so much pent up anger over the man himself, and have to resort to name calling. Lemming-Fan of the show...Potato-Potahto? Whatever. For people who want to see the Russ threads die off, you don't hesitate to respond to them and keep them going. He wasn't your cup of tea. So what? That makes you better than everybody else? Ok...whatever works for you.

The Blogger says that for the DO cover story on Russ, that people that liked Russ were talked to along with those that loathed him, and worked with him, etc.

I heard Russ is buying the Greenville station he started on and he is going to call it Russ100.

Buying a station is the only way he's going to work in this market again. No advertiser on the planet wants to be associated with a wife-beater.

How anyone can continue to defend this guy is beyond me....

Allegedly. He was never convicted.

Like I have stated earlier, myself and two other individual small business owners would be more than proud to advertise on his show and are just waiting. He still has one of the strongest fan bases in the market and he's not even on the air! The fans are still there, the advertisers are still there, but unfortunately the contract is also still there. I guarantee you that is the only thing keeping him off the air, regardless of what your "moral compass" and envious jealousy say.

Apparently he didn't. Even his girlfriend filed a complaint with the cops alleging they coerced her into making a report in the first place.

And Southlake police went out and found this chick who happened to be Mr. Martin's girlfriend and coerced her into making a complaint against him just for grins, huh? The bruises and the missing patches of hair were photoshopped in, right? And no one called the police in the first place, they just figured it out by osmosis??

She went in to find out her legal rights as far as getting her things so that she could leave. They coerced her into making the report (hence the complaint). You can roll your eyes all you like, but if you honestly don't think cops are capable of coercion, there's nothing I can do to help you.

The story I read also noted how she tried to drop the charges but that city has a "no drop" policy. They coerced her into making the report, and then they wouldn't let her drop it.

Hate on the man all you like, he wasn't proven guilty in a court of law and even his own girlfriend said it was coercion.
