Based off the Howard Stern courtroom proceedings vs Infiniti, it seems very clear that in this case CBS owns the broadcast rights to those Russ tapes. UNLESS, they waived their rights when selling his contract to Clear Channel.
 
I don't really think they care. Why would they? Just to be punitive? Nah, they have bigger things to keep their corporate attorneys working on. I think sometimes we focus on right or wrong. these guys focus on "is it worth our time". It's not. Russ is a bit player on a mid pack station that does not directly compete with them...FAN, talk vs. sports talk, i get it, but it really isn't a big deal. Russ who?

It gets ignored around here because it's 'Spanish", but they are making serious inroads. They're up to #3 overall, so do the math. If they're doing that well overall, they're going to kill incertain demos...
