Duke's was BIG 105.3 advertiser...they have been gone since last week from 105.3 site They not only did P&K but Jagger's and BDH used Dukes for promos, parties, etc. Now BDH has Cutie Pies for that.
I quit listening on July 22nd after reading the warrant/charges (after being a listener for 6 years) and sent an email to Garvin, David Henry, Dan Mason and the entire Jagger staff. So I do not know what on air advertisers have stopped. 105.3 site also no longer has ads for Renaissance Laser.

Russ's site use to have a link on front page and said "official liquor store of the RMS". That's gone (but they could have changed it to "more wife beaters get liquored up here first !" Now all that is there is Russ' auto shop ad that states they are still giving away their gift certicates with work done . Any one can buy and give away gift card, they jumped ship as a sponsor.
Also on Russ' site, if you click on services...there is now a disclaimer that "these listings are not advertisments"

I agree. Two advertisers pulling their ads from the Live 105.3 website does not constitute a mass exodus. Afterall, who better than Russ to advertise for 1-800-THE-DOGS now?

As the late Karen Carpenter sang, "We've only just begun". Two here, three there, five more in a week. Every lost advertiser adds up. You can bet the count will escalate if they bring RM back. No advertiser wants to be associated with negative publicity.

BTW I don't buy the charges against him. There are just too many inconsistancies in the story. Something just doesn't ring true for me. I've been assured that the truth will come out.

I wouldn't hold your breath.. I would love to hear Russ back LIVE but, I don't think that is gonna happen anytime soon..

I know........let's have the Judge, the reporting officer and the investigating detective show up too. Then we can get all of the media outlets to come over so you can grill them to ensure they are in on the bit too. Oh, let's not forget the management of CBS.

Another brilliant argument from the peanut gallery. I hadn't realized that every news story is 100% accurate. Why bother with silly things like evidence or proof?? Someone somewhere said it happened so let's just convict him now. My mistake.

Arguement? I didn't present an arguement. I asked what proof it would take for you to beleive that something might have happened on July 14th. Answer the question, if you please.

I think you are a complete moron. What proof would I need? Maybe some type of evidence. I haven't seen ANYTHING that would make me believe he did it. You guys are trying to kill someone's career because of something that could be totally false.

As someone who has been in an abuse situation I can say for sure that the cops do make arrests based on the word of one woman.


For proof, I'd like to know if there were any witnesses to this or any previous abuse, if photos of her injuries were taken and submitted in to evidence, or if there were any audio or video recordings of this incident. The police statement says that Mandy was waiting for Russ in her office waiting to record him. Where is that recording?? Russ also has a security system with cameras in the house. What did those show?

If there is legitimate proof of this assault then by all means he should be prosecuted. I'd just like to wait until the evidence is out there.

BTW the peanut gallery is a television reference and not commenting on anyone's sanity. Sorry to confuse you.
