I like Russ. Personaly I think that there is ALOT to the story that we have NOT heard !
It will be interesting to see how his show changes now.. (if any)

Mister, I agree in this case, you're innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, not public opinion. What seems to get alot of folks is the fact his "fanbase", as well as that of other celebs seem to turn a blind eye to their public indescretions. Im of the belief that if you are in the public eye, you have a much larger responsibility to fly right and act straight.

Any time a ship appears to be in danger of sinking, the Captain will have the crew bail until there's no hope. My guess is the Captain is near to pulling the plug and abandoning ship.

We get that - it is just hard to tell the difference between live or "best of" because he does NOTHING original. It is the same show every day. Even before the alleged assault I was tired of it. That forced laughter by his entourage is painful to listen to. :

I tuned in briefly to see if I'd catch anything about the mess he's in, but I guess I tuned in too late because they were talking about kids and credit cards by the time I listened. Sounded like something they've discussed before, so I switched back to NPR. I checked again a while later and the firrst thing I heard was Russ's cronies cackling about something or other, so I just gave up.

Well that shows how repetitious he has become and proves my point about how I can never tell when the show is live or best of (the rare times I ever tune in). I tuned in just a while ago to see if Russ was on and they were talking about someone on the show who watches some program about knives. It sounded exactly like a conversation they had years ago. I thought it was Best Of and turned it off.

Same here! I tuned in just after 3:15 and they were talking about JD and his new bike. ???
Listened for a while, thought it was best of and switched to Ticket.

They were cackling about Russ' making subtle innuendo regarding the alleged 'wife' beating he gave.
I know it's me not liking Russ and being jaded, as accused in another thread, but...
His quote was along the lines of this...
Somebody says Clo got in trouble over the weekend.
Then Russ says 'What did you do?' with a sarcastic tone and a long pause.
The rest of them start gut laughing uncontrollably then when Clo claims something like 'I didn't do it'
Russ starts chuckling and says 'Yea I said the same thing'
So if I'm jaded and this isn't regarding the crime Russ allegedly committed of beating a woman and waving a gun around, tell me what he's talking about?
