Ruthie The Duck Girl Dies

Here's a piece about Ruthie Grace Moulon for those not familiar with her http://a465.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/63/l_249f4c41a9dd505dfe3f78d04b6e4ab8.jpg

During my NOPD days I used to work paid details at Pat O'Brien's and got daily visits from Ruthie and her brother, Henry. I contributed many cigarettes "for later" to the tiny lady and I was amazed at the stream of invective that could issue forth from her lips when someone ired her. After one such episode, a seasoned Navy chief gunners mate exclaimed, "She outdone me! I could never match that performance!"

God bless Ruthie! Ruthie went straight to heaven and all her duckies were waiting there for her!

That sure looks like Weerd Wayne at the mike and turntable to me, Jeeves. Did Weerdo moonlight as Ruthie the Duck Girl ??? Whoda thunk it.

Ruthie trivia: All of her ducks have/had the same name, what was it?

On a side note, is the Lucky Bead lady still around?

Jimmy Cronin. I haven't seen the bead lady in ages, but then I rarely get to "Da Qwawtas" anymore.
