san antonio radio

San Antonio should have AT LEAST a AM dedicated to the Format and the Black Community.

San Antonio does have KCHL 1480 which has a long tradition of serving the Black community.

Both San Antonio and Houston have their advantages and disadvantages when it comes to radio. SA seems like they're going the right direction and I've heard a lot of improvements in most of their stations. In fact, when I come down to SA I actually enjoy listening to stations there. Not like how it was 5 to 10 years ago. Houston, 5 to 10 years ago, was a different story and more enjoyable. Now it seems like they're at a standstill.

I grew up in SA and always thought the radio was really boring. Now I can say I was right when I was 10 after living in Dallas, San Diego, San Francisco, and LA. San Antonio is still way below par compared to other markets its size.

I have to say it seems to me maybe Radio Elsewhere was much better 20 years ago, in other markets.

However for the most part, it stinks across the board now.

No insult to those trying to be on the air. It is just a fact. Their hands may be tied, but it still stinks.

EVERYWHERE-and no one is fixing it, just making it worse.
