What part of the county is Lubbock in?

OOPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What? You didn't hear? They are going to move Lubbock to San Diego county!
You should see the equipment they brought in for the job... ;D

EDIT: REMOVE "LUBBOCK," REPLACE WITH "SAN DIEGO."

RESUBMIT.
CORRECTED.

(Sorry, messed up).

Is this thread still about Oldies in San Diego?

NO NO NO NO! You can't say "Buddy Holly," because it's the intellectual property of his widow... You have to say "That guy with the glasses who wrote music in the 50s who was from Lubbock."

Also, "Red Raiders" is a trade mark of Texas Tech. you have to say: Red RaidersTM, and you need permission to write it!
(Don't want to get sued now, do we?) ::)

Every person we've mentioned is an oldie and I know for a fact that everyone of them said they never wanted to be "in Lubbock."

Yep, complain about $4 a gallon gas, but damn it, it sure is nice to have nice weather 95 percent of the time. The town in the panhandle has cotton bales, tumble weeds and dust storms.

Now Chris don't Mess with Texas, it is an amazing place, but Lubbock, and El Paso are God's armpits. East Texas, San Antonio, Corpus, Galveston are great places. Do you honestly think that Jimmy Webb would have written a song about a bad place, after all he wrote MacArthur Park!

As for Lubbock? Why, that's "God's Country..."

A big phat welcome to "the Walrus, 105.7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
