Does anyone have any fact behind this? I recall a time when even local/smaller stations would not be caught without an NAB membership.

In any event, small stations could indeed join (whats the membership dues?), and therefore, a voice/lobby.

It IS true. You could join if you want to.

If you choose not to, don't complain you have no ability to lobby.
