So 105.3 is reverting to the hot talk format? If so, great! It made no sense removing the format in cities where it worked, hopefully CBS/LA is reading my post!metroneck said:the Wolfe swap shook the deck for Saturdays at the fan. John told me that Bigby used him pulling out as an excuse to finally do what he had been threatening all along. Icing everything. He told me that The Fan is going back to a Live 105.3 format during the NFL off season. So it's going to be Cowboys, Cowboys, and calf fries. Rangers and Nascar may get iced also. I'm pretty certain that Rodney Anderson is moving to John Clay's 8-9 slot that left vacant.

James Burleson said:The station is not "flipping" to hot talk but merely going to focus on more hot talk since Cowboy season is over. I witnessed this first hand last year at The Fan when Cowboy season ran out.
They are going to talk more about "guy talk" ( mimicking the Ticket most likely) because lets face it...Outside of Newy, no one on that station knows anything about Mavericks, Stars or Rangers. You can even tell the hosts do not want to even research or educate themselves about it. All that station wants to talk about is Cowboys, you can see that now when they still bring up topics involving the Cowboys even though there is nothing to talk about.
CBS won't flip it now, maybe down the line they will. Until that station can gain some credibility with Sports fans they will continue to hover around last place and 3rd among the sports stations.
