Here's a smart man who signed a contract with TRN, a company run by the family of Christian cult leader Roy Masters. His followers are called "Roybots", and they've taken over many of the businesses in southern Oregon towns such as Cave Junction, Medford, etc.
So, why is Michael Savage surprised that he'd have such a restrictive contract and have a hard time getting out of it? This is what cults do. If TRN is tied directly to the Roy Masters cult is a matter of speculation, but the evidence seems to support the idea that there's a lot of Roy Masters influence on TRN in the way contracts are written.

What problem did Savage have with his contract? Apparently he was earning $10 million and he was on in drive time.
Will Cumulus pay him that much for being on at night?
